Richard
After a brief foray into management consulting, Richard started his career in investment banking, initially market-making interest rate derivatives for JPMorganChase and then Bank of America Merrill Lynch. This was followed by a move into management culminating in running Fixed Income for UBS in Tokyo.
Since 2019 he has been working as a portfolio manager for a London-based hedge fund. Richard has worked in London, Singapore and Tokyo. A CFA Charterholder and former British Army Officer, Richard studied Engineering at the University of Cambridge.
In his free time, he enjoys cycling and surfing.
Sorin
His experience started in the airline software industry in Los Angeles. This was followed by a move into financial IT in Tokyo - Japan, initialy working for a quant library vendor and later moving into investment banking to assist the Fixed Income trading desks.
Has held important roles in IT departments in investments banks, including: Dresdner, UBS, Merrill Lynch, RBS, BNP Paribas and Natixis.
He has a keen interest in financial and blockchain derivatives.
